Dirt Boy 4×4 – Winch Cradle Safety & Compliance Notice At Dirt Boy 4×4, we design our Hidden Winch Cradles to provide a strong and reliable mounting system for off-road winch installations while integrating with factory chassis mounting points.
Product Design Our winch cradles are engineered to mount to existing factory chassis locations and are designed to support the safe installation of compatible winches. Depending on vehicle model, installation may involve removal or replacement of the original bumper reinforcement (crash bar). The product is designed with consideration of factory airbag sensor locations and mounting geometry.
However, as with all structural aftermarket accessories, the final vehicle configuration depends on correct installation and overall vehicle setup. These products have not been independently crash tested. It is the responsibility of the vehicle owner and installer to ensure the vehicle continues to comply with applicable Australian Design Rules (ADR) and state regulations after modification.
