The important factor to consider when choosing a winch is the length of the winch motor. We recommend winches with a winch motor length of up to 170mm measured from the centre of the winch mounting bolt. Winches with a longer motor may require cutting of the factory bumper mounting bracket. Some customers have installed longer winches such as the Carbon Scout Pro 15K and chose to cut the bracket.
